KFC Dual Pricing Hi Guys, Myself and the missus fancied some KFC this afternoon. Never ordered online before so decided to do same. Selected the items and the total inc delivery was 380b. I checked out the website after giving my address and phone no. Then I had a choice of credit card or cash. I chose cash and all seemed well as i got a conformation email. Shortly after I received a phone call saying it would be 100b more if i wanted my order. No particular reason only i was to be charged more if i wanted the order. I said no as i had ordered in good faith on the official website. So the order was cancelled. Immediately i suspected that the delivery guy was not happy with the 40b but wanted 140b I then had a brain wave, order online again and pay with card this time, as the bill would be pre paid and the driver could not look for another 100b. So did that and waited, shortly a phone call again saying that i can have delivery only if i pay an extra 100b at the door. I said i would not as i had paid all already, the caller said he could not and would cancel my order and issue a card refund immediately. This did not happen, i went down town for something to eat, in the restaurant I called KFC to ask why I had not been refunded for order 165? She told me because the food was on its way, I said no your guys cancelled it I want my refund and how could it be on its way as i wont pay the extra 100b. This is what she said: “There has been a mistake on the ordering system you have been given the Thai price and as you are a Tourist we cannot give it to you for the Thai price”. She then added “Because of the confusion she would only charge me the thai price this time”. The price difference was 380 as opposed to 480. Eventually she refunded my card as no order ever came my way, took an hour on the phone though. Wow…. J
