The house is in a fantastic spot, around a 6 minute walk from two train stations (Kensington and Newmarket) and the 57 tram line. There a tonne of great cafes within short walking distance and heaps of restaurants (Laksa King!!). We are looking for someone to move in around 12th April. The room is $198/week + bills evenly split amongst all members of the house (including cable internet). The house is a 1980’s freestanding four bedroom dwelling with recent renovations, including a large open plan kitchen and living area which opens onto a secluded courtyard area. The house has central heating and air conditioning with modern facilities. One bathroom with both bath and shower and a separate toilet. It is fully furnished aside from the room which is available. The rom is about 20sqm with plenty of room for a queen bed and desk, features built in robes and an ornamental fireplace. The outlook is onto the street, however there is large natural vegetation, which offers privacy screening. About the other housemates: Reuben is a project coordinator who works in print media and is also a qualified chef, who enjoys cooking. Jarrod is an engineer who enjoys social activities such as gigs, Frisbee and both video and board games. Tom has recently gone back to university, plays guitar and enjoys movies and pizza. The room up for grabs is mine as I will be moving out at the start of April so looking for someone to move in around then. I have lived here for three years and love the house and the guys. It is a socially orientated house with a respectful nature. Looking for someone who is happy to have a chat or a drink, clean and with a friendly persona.
