(I’m looking for volunteers for a photography project but happy to offer professional shots of your homes if you are trying to rent a room in exchange for your time!) I’m a Swiss NYC-based photographer currently getting a graduate degree in photography at the School of Visual Arts. For my thesis, I have been photographing groups of roommates of all ages in the intimacy of their homes. I am exploring the role roommates can have as a “surrogate family” for people moving to NYC.
